Additional Information/Requirements:

Students have the option of fulfilling requirements on a per-semester basis.

Must serve on one committee*.

*How to serve on a committee:

  • Community Service – Participate in all events within a semester
  • Fundraising – Participate in all fundraising activities within a semester
  • Social – Attend all social events offered within a semester
  • VITA (Spring semester only) - 1 hour training, 2 hours of volunteering
  • Tutoring – volunteer at least 3 hours towards helping local high-school students better understand the academics of accounting.
  • External Relations Committee - manage 10 contacts with the IIA via email updating members of upcoming UBAA events and involvement

Distinguished Member Requirements:

  • Two additional technicals
  • One additional community service event
  • One additional fundraiser event
